  1. Hi anton18, I don’t think it was a conscious decision but rather a natural decision that I made at a very early age because of my hobbies and activities that I loved to take part in, in the outdoors.

  2. Hi anton18, I always loved science, since a very early age. When I realised that with science I could work in different areas and constantly meet new people, then it was the most natural thing to choose for me.

  3. Hi!
I really enjoyed science from when I was very young but I think I decided when I was about 16/17 after doing some work experience at the Natural History Museum in London. That really convinced me. Work experience working alongside scientists is something I would highly recommend if you aren’t fully sure whether you would like to go into science 🙂

  4. I decided to be a scientist at third year of University. I wanted to be a mechanical engineer to build cars but did not enjoy the engineering courses and discovered geology.

  5. well, actually I still do not know it.
I decided to invest my university years in science, and now other 4 years, but I am definitely not sure if I would like to do this for the rest of my life.
Who can be sure about it? A job is a job, and luckily we are free to change it!
However, for the moment I like the scientific environment, and I’ll try to keep my job as it is 🙂
