  1. Hi asdfg, I simply enjoy it! Have you ever had a game when you were little that you really enjoyed and would not stop playing it for hours on end? That’s how it feels when I am doing science. 🙂

  2. Hi asdfg, excelent question! I think on a day to day basis it’s accomplishing little things maybe in the lab or on a machine that make me love science. But then I can also be outside backpacking or doing fieldwork and I love that. Or maybe it might be a positive, enthusiastic exchange/conversation with another scientist. All of these things plus many more, big or little, let me know that I love science!

  3. Hi asdfg,

From when I was really young – learning about new science really makes me happy! And its even better when I can discuss my ideas with other people who enjoy it just as much as I do 🙂

Which science subject is your favourite and why?

  4. I knew when I learned of all the fascinating topics and saw that I could participate in the discovery of new theories and tectonic events. I saw myself contributing to completing a “jigsaw puzzle” and It made me happy. Plus, I learned that what I did could help society, which is very important to me.

  5. Well, I do love arts and literature too, actually. I like to use my brain, in general, both in a rational or in a more emotional or spontaneous ways. However, although I am really good in dreaming, I prefer to play on more rational and scientific ground, if it comes to a job, and thus I went for a scientific training.
There is always time to do art or other activities outside work, whereas I would find the opposite (work everyday in art, do science in the weekend) a bit too difficult for me!
