Question: Have You ever seen '2012'? What do You think about this film?

    Hi martina2, I have seen the movie “2012.” The movie, itself, was visually impressive, maybe almost too much. I’m not really familiar with the subject of Mayan prophecy but the movie doesn’t really give you a clear understanding as to why the world is going to end! I wasn’t particularly impressed as a scientist or as a viewer.

    I haven’t no, but I would like to see it even though all my friends told me it’s geologically inaccurate!

    mmm no I think I missed that one. Is it an apocalyptic movie? Usually I like movies with a lot of special effects!

    Hi Martina2,

    Yes, I have seen the movie. Although the movie was visually impressive, unfortunately, I do not think that much of the episodes were scientifically correct.

    Hence, although I think that it was a great film, I had to remove my scientific hat off and simply enjoy the film rather than try to understand all of the events which were scientifically impossible.
