Question: Have you ever bin in italy? I not its too cold there.

I’m from Malta, hence very close to Italy. Pimpdidi, I can assure you that Italy can be very hot as well. If you want some nice warm weather, while eating a delicious pizza and some ‘gelato’, then I would suggest that you visit Italy in Summer! 🙂

I’m in Italy right now! At a summer school in Urbino, but whilst I’ve been here I’ve visited Verona, Bologna and Firenze too 🙂
I’m coming back to Italy for a conference in Ferrara in about a week and a half too! -

Haha, some but more on an appearance/artistic note; serpentinites are very pretty. I think minerals that they are composed of are far more interesting. My favourite mineral is called kyanite – its light blue.
I don’t like keep a pet rock or anything that would be strange (and slightly worrying too…)

Hey Pimpdidi, maybe it was not very clear from my profile but…I was born in Italy 🙂 therefore my answer is Yes, I have been in Italy, I actually lived there until I was 25! and it’s a beautiful country I assure you. Too cold? well, it depends on which part of the country. Italy is a very very long country: in the North you can have very cold winter, although summer is always quite hot, while in the South winters are really mild, and summers are extremely hot.
Since I moved to the Netherlands I actually think that here, in the north of Europe, it is too cold, and I am always going back to Italy when I want to dry my bones, so you can imagine I was quite surprise when I read your question, …but of course it is all relative. And now I am really curious: where are you from? To which climate are you used?
